The hemp industry faces complete collapse in November unless Congress listens to the will of the people and passes the Baird-Craig extension that would replace the current industry-killing sunset period with a 2-year extension. The language passed both the House and the Senate in a CR funding bill meant to open the government from a prolonged shutdown. The language will:
